Attack on DNS

We are currently facing an attack on the OrderBox DNS servers, on account of which the DNS records (A, MX, PTR, etc...) could not be fetched.

Below are the IP addresses which have been null routed due to the attack:

50.23.136.173
50.23.136.174
50.23.75.96
50.23.75.97
50.23.75.44
50.23.75.45
50.23.136.230
50.23.136.229

We are working in co-ordination with the data center to mitigate this attack as soon as possible. Please follow this thread for more information.

Informasi Terbaru Layanan Privacy Protection

Terkait dengan perubahan kebijakan pada ICANN, untuk layanan privacy protection akan dikenakan biaya Rp 60.000 per tahunnya per tanggal 16 Agustus 2014.

  1. Domain yang telah menggunakan layanan privacy protection tidak dikenakan biaya tambahan hingga masa aktif domain habis. Saat proses renewal, anda bisa memutuskan untuk tetap menggunakan layanan berikut atau tidak.
  2. Domain yang sebelumnya tidak menggunakan layanan tersebut dan ingin mengaktifkannya akan dikenakan biaya sesuai dengan sisa bulan hingga masa domain expired.
  3. Untuk registrasi domain baru & menggunakan layanan tersebut akan dikenakan biaya penuh
  4. Masa aktif layanan privacy protection sesuai dengan masa aktif domain anda.

Sekedar informasi bagi situs ecommerce : penggunaan whois protection malah cenderung merugikan bagi situs ecommerce karena bisa mengurangi kepercayaan user yang bisa melihat  whois sebuah domain. Jadi sebaiknya untuk situs ecommerce tidak perlu ditutup data pemilik domainnya jika tidak ingin kehilangan sebagian pembeli potensial.

Hello,

Recently, server Rhino (Shared Hosting Singapore) had some minor and few major downtimes on few occasions. This is due to the fact that the data center hosting this server having multiple network issues resulting server downtimes on many occasions. The data center moved this server to one of their reliable networks however even after this migration we are not satisfied with its network performance, therefore we are relocating the server to a better data center with 100% Network uptime. This is a LIVE MIGRATION therefore clients will not experience any downtime during the migration and all services will run normally. We believe these improvements were needed to maintain uptime and reliability on server Rhino (Shared Hosting Singapore) in order to keep all valued customers 100% satisfied with our services.

If you are using using the following default nameservers there's nothing to be done from your end, your sites will point to the new server automatically once the migration is completed.

If you are using your own private nameservers you would need to update the current IP's to the following new IP's once the migration is completed. You must not update the private nameserver IP's before this time.
